Water Works Indoor Water Park
The Water Works indoor waterpark, situated inside the Schaumburg Park District Community Recreation Center, has plenty of thrilling water activities for all ages to splash around and have some quality family time.
The beach-like, zero-depth entry swimming pool is ideal for families with younger children or those who are just getting used to being in the water. A shallow spray ground, a rapid water channel, and three water slides are also included in the water park. A whirlpool, diving pool, and lap pool are available for older children and adults.
One of my favorite features as a single mother is the family changing room. Although my son is now old enough to enter a changing room alone, I’ll never forget how embarrassed he felt when he had to join me in the ladies room to change out of his wet swimsuit. The family changing room alleviates this stress for families with young children who are visiting with only one parent.
